Signing off until summer

I have sorely neglected And So Forth lately, for various reasons. If you're reading this, you likely know I keep up two other personal blogs: La France Profonde and Cuisine Quotidienne. That keeps me pretty busy in the blogging department, and to top it off, my professional blogging load has just doubled.

So... I think I'm going to put And So Forth to sleep for a while. However, I plan to make it my summer place when I'm in Olympia for July and August, so I'll see you there and then.

In the meantime, feel free to add suggestions to my holiday reading list!

I'll give some thought to your reading list.

So when is the show starting at THIS end?

Spacedlaw, how faithful you are!

Not until I get to the USA -- early July.

I'm slowing down on all blogging activity as I'm trying to wrap up things on the home and work front here before leaving for 7 weeks!

Just missing the posts and I did not know when exactly you were going.
:)
I shall wait.

Hi. Found you through Nathalie-Spacedlaw's blog and thought of a reading suggestion: I just started Gao Xingjian's Buying a Fishing Rod for My Grandfather. I'm enjoying it so far-- it's the second short story collection I've read that was originally written in Chinese. I'm finding Chinese writers' approach to the short story really interesting-- they're these very compact, close-up studies of character. Really beautiful, and deceptively simple. :)

Have a good trip!

Thank you for the suggestion. I have been missing blogging as I haven't blogged anywhere (except professionally) for a couple of weeks. I think breaks are good though -- I'm looking forward to picking up with two of my three personal blogs next week.

Thanks again for your visit!
