I forget where I saw it at - Americablog, perhaps? - but there was this clip and one from 2007. The difference is vast. Obviously, I'd have voted for a rubber chicken before I'd vote for a Republican, but regardless of political viewpoints, the dude is NOT healthy enough, physically and mentally, for the White House. And Palin? No Cheneys with a $150k wardrobe, thanks.
tut-tut -- To me, the frightening thing is not the rather hilarious oral misstep, because I honestly think that could happen to anyone. It's the way he reacts to it -- he seems so confused! Instead of laughing and saying something like, "boy I bet the media is going to have a blast with that, of course what I meant was..." he just mangles the follow-up -- I wonder if he even realized what he had said. He certainly didn't seem to know what he was saying afterwards.
A native of Olympia, Washington, I've been raising a dual national family and teaching English in France for 28 years. I started this blog in 2005 and am currently sharing my many photos of Aveyron, Occitanie, France.

That's frightening. That was also in today's NY Times, too.

Oh come on, Randal, you know she's just like us!

I saw this the other day and cringed, yet laughed at the same time.
Ten more days of this. It couldn't be over soon enough for me.
I'm going to throw up if I hear "patriotic" and "God loving" one more time.
McCain is pathetic and sad, yes. But - most of all - he scares the shit out of me!
Thanks for your comment on my blog, BTW.
He's defo getting tired.
