I just saw the New York City show last night and it was BRILLIANT!! Ray's phenomenal stage presence always makes for a compelling show, but last night he seemed so relaxed, confident, and just plain happy to be on stage, it was infectious. Great singalongs the entire show, hand-clapping on every number (my hands are bruised today!), and yes, a few tears, especially when he sang a tender, stirring version of Shangri-La. We also got to hear him sing Starstruck, which I never thought I'd get to hear live.
I echo Betty's advice: If you EVER get a chance to see this masterful performer live, DON'T PASS IT UP!!!
