I have a very very diffucult mother in law who clearly does not like me...so your valentines day advice is haunting me.
cityfarmer, that wasn't really my advice, I was just citing advice from a book I had read an article about.
It was focused on American wife/French husband relationships but maybe the mother-in-law issues cross all borders...
